About Us

About Us

The objective of the team is to protect and save human life with our tools and capabilities in conjunction with other hungarian teams and international organizations and to aid people in distress without regard their country of residence, their race, their sex, their religion, their political views and their level of affluence.

We believe and acknowledge that it is only possible to train rescue dogs by acknowledging responsibility and dedicating significant amounts of time and money. Annually, to certify their abilities, we demonstrate and test the dogs according to the standards of the International Rescue Dog Organization, the International Rettungshunde Organization. We repeat our tests every year.

About Us * A dog well-trained to search through rubble is capable of detecting a person that is several meters below the surface and give a clear signal of the detection to it’s owner.

* Dogs trained to search a wide area are capable of searching acres of forest or other plant covered areas in around 8-10 minutes and thereafter give an unmistakable signal for people found there. These dogs are able to work for days in a high level with appropriate restings.

About Us * Dogs trained to track can follow a scent which is several hours old and which for example comes from a lost child wandering in an area. In this way it is easy to pick up the track of missing persons.

* As a result of their special training, dogs trained to search for corpses, as with their brethern trained to search through rubble or over a wide area, are able to limit their search specifically to dead people.

Our members have diverse backgrounds: a military doctor, a teacher, an animal breeder, a student, a language teacher, a rescue worker, and a professional firefighter. We carry out our activity on a charitable basis in our free time without any remuneration.

About Us With our dogs, we participate in the search for persons (searching through building rubble and over wide areas) in cooperation with official organizations (eg. police, fire departments, ambulance, local goverments).

Our team supports the knowledge propagation and education so that is why we took part of 30 demonstations ans shows where we demonstrated our team and our dogs knowledge. We were on different type of events for example children’s day, labour day, youth camps and animal protecion events.

We emphasize strongly the technical work and the continual improvement of theoretical and practical knowledge. There is extensive international travel (Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, the Czech Republic, etc.) in order to train with other teams and for deployment exercises. We obtain technical materials from abroad and maintain continuous contacts with diverse search teams with the benefit of the internet.

The team works closely with the National Catastrophe Prevention Directorate, the Municipal Fire Fighting Directorate, the Official National Governmental Fire Fighting Association, the European Rescue Service and numerous additional official and voluntary rescue organizations.

About Us Up until now, using only our own resources, we have achieved that we are in a position to search for and rescue people in distress with 9 dogs that are certified to be internationally deployable, with emergency doctors, nurses, and fire fighters. The team is registered and planned for domestic and international deployment with the National Catastrophe Prevention Directorate. Our Team have participated in traning and exercise which was held and organized by the National Catastrophe Prevention Directorate and the United Nations, where we reached the UN OCHA international certificate which is internationally recognized.

All of our team members have received the appropriate vaccinations from the Health Directorate of the Hungarian Defense Ministry, thus having a broad range of protection and the international vaccination pass (hepatitis A-B, typhoid fever, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, yellow fever, encephalitis transferred by ticks, etc.).
